Redirecting form one domain to another new domain may become necessary
Step 1: Open the Application

Options include:
- Type: Depending on what you choose, your redirect will be temporary or permanent. The main audience for this is search engines. Search engines will treat the new site as the official one if you choose permanent ,and not if you choose temporary.
- Website: Which is where you should choose your domain. It will either be http or https, with www or without www, depending on your installation.
- Redirects To: Put your new domain here.
- /: This is where you can pick a particular page or subfolder to redirect in place of your entire website.
- www. redirection: These options let you control which version of your site will be redirected. You can choose whether to redirect shikinet.com (without the www), www.shikinet.com, or both. Both is the most popular choice.
- Wild Card Redirect: All files in the website directory will be forwarded to the same file path in the new one if selected. For Example: A redirect from old-shikinet.com/document.pdf to new-shikinet.com/document.pdf.
When you have made your choices, press Add to create the redirect.
